About Drew.

I am an architectural design professional based in Asheville, NC, with a client base that extends across the United States. With seven years of experience, I have worked on a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, life science, and urban planning, both domestically and internationally. I specialize in creating spaces, artwork, and design that reflect the dynamic ways in which we live, work, and interact. My approach to architecture is centered on understanding the unique needs, lifestyles, and aspirations of each client. This deep collaboration allows me to design environments that are not only functional but also meaningful, enhancing the everyday experience and aligning with long-term goals.

Each project is an opportunity to craft architecture that is a direct response to the people it serves. I work closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized through thoughtful, tailored design. My focus is on delivering a cohesive, integrated design process that harmonizes both architecture and interior design, resulting in a seamless, unified final product. The goal is always to create spaces that are aesthetically compelling, functionally responsive, and deeply connected to the lives and values of those who inhabit them.

My expertise encompasses all phases of design and construction, as well as design-build projects. I am most interested by how materiality, light, and the scale of spaces can influence people’s emotions. I enjoy spending time working on painting and sculpture that evoke similar principles to that of the built environment.

Along my way I have developed an appreciation for passions that diverge from our hyper-digital world. These past-times include: medium format film photography, playing folk guitar, as well as the never ending cycle of tinkering with tools and machines in the workshop + studio.
